Cocktails and Conservation

There are no dates scheduled for the next Cocktails and Conservation- please check back soon or  Sign Up for our E Newsletter to keep up on new event announcementsHave you ever wondered what it would be like to be a scientist working to conserve some of the most endangered species in the world? Well, for one night, we will let you find out! No, you won’t be mixing up weird concoctions in a remote lab on the top of a mountain… not quite. But, you will be able to watch as our partners at the South-East Zoo Alliance for Reproduction and Conservation (SEZARC) show you how they develop methods that allow them to better understand the science behind rhino reproduction (and other things you’ve always wanted to know). Your tour will take you to various stops around the conservation center where you will have the chance to meet some of the SEZARC staff while they talk about just a few of the projects SEZARC is doing here at White Oak and beyond.

After the tour, you will enjoy a gourmet dinner featuring ingredients from the White Oak Gardens in one of White Oak’s beautiful dining areas. So come on out and join us!
