During our Sunset Safaris, join wildlife staff for a tour of the conservation center as the sun sets, and the animals are most active. The evening is the perfect time for photographs, and the tour’s open-air tour vehicles provide a great view to capture the magic of White Oak at sundown. After the tour, guests will enjoy cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres and a gourmet dinner in one of White Oak’s beautiful dining areas. During a Saturday Safari, your morning begins with a tour of the conservation center during which wildlife experts will introduce you to our conservation programs, habitats, and some of the 35 species that call White Oak home, including rhino, giraffe, okapi, and cheetah. After the tour, you will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring ingredients from the White Oak Gardens in one of White Oak’s beautiful dining areas. Crafts and Giraffes
This unique event combines the immersive wildlife experience of a tour at White Oak with the finest beer from regional Florida breweries! During your tour, you will see rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and other White Oak residents while learning about White Oak’s work to save these imperiled species. After your tour, enjoy dinner prepared by our award-winning chefs. Throughout the night, you will enjoy craft beers, selected especially for this evening. Winos for Rhinos
This popular event includes a tour of our new and expanding rhino habitats where you will meet three species of rhinos and their caretakers while you learn about White Oak’s conservation programs. During your stops at the different areas, we will provide a refreshing beverage while you enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by White Oak’s culinary team. Rise and Shine Safari
Mornings are a great time to enjoy White Oak. The animals are active and the sun is still waking up. We invite you to experience something that many of us here at White Oak already know: that White Oak mornings are magical! Your morning begins with a tour of the conservation center (after supplying you with coffee, of course) during which wildlife experts will introduce you to our conservation programs, habitats, and some of the 35 species that call White Oak home, including rhino, giraffe, okapi, and cheetah. A Taste of Africa
Enjoy a wildlife tour highlighting the many African species that call White Oak home, followed by a dinner prepared by our award-winning chefs. Cocktails and Conservation
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a scientist working to conserve some of the most endangered species in the world? Well, for one night, you can find out! After enjoying a cocktail hour with a presentation by a conservationist, your tour will take you to various stops around the conservation center where you will have the chance to learn more about wildlife conservation efforts around the world. Cancellation and refund policies
Guests may cancel reservations and receive a full refund or credit for future use 7 days or more prior to a scheduled experience. Refunds are not given if cancellations are made 6 days or less prior to an experience. Guests may receive a credit for a future experience if they cancel a reservation up to three days prior to the scheduled experience.
If inclement or severe weather is expected or poor road conditions are anticipated, White Oak may cancel an experience. All efforts will be made to announce cancellations 24 hours before an experiences start time. We make every effort to reschedule experiences prior to predicted inclement weather, however north Florida can experience unpredictable daily weather and we cannot offer refunds for experiences affected by weather. If White Oak cancels an experience, guests will be given credit in the amount of the ticket purchase towards a future experience.
Guests should check their emails 12 and 24 hours in advance of an event or tour to be aware of possible cancellations.
